NEW DELHI: Anna University will announce the results of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 and the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission Postgraduate (CEETA PG) 2025 on April 24. The university will also release the answer keys on April 1. Candidates can download the TANCET and CEETA PG answer keys and results from the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu once they are available.
Anna University conducted the TANCET 2025 exam on March 22 to facilitate admissions to MBA and MCA programs offered by participating universities for the 2025-26 academic session.
According to the TANCET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. If candidates shade multiple answers, the response will be treated as incorrect, resulting in a deduction of 1/3 mark.
The TANCET 2025 exam took place across 15 examination centers including Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram and Bargur.
TANCET MBA Cut-offs 2025
After Anna University declares the TANCET 2025 results, business schools will announce the MBA cut-offs. Candidates must secure the minimum cut-off marks to qualify for admission. Authorities will determine the cut-offs based on factors such as the number of applicants, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, available seats, previous years’ cut-off trends and the difficulty level of the exam.
Anna University will also publish the TANCET MBA counselling schedule. Candidates must register for TANCET MBA counselling to participate in the admission process. They must carry all required documents during counselling and the authorities will declare the seat allotment results after the final round of counselling.
