The last date for AP PGECET 2026 final phase reporting has been extended to November 4, 2026. The notice appears on the Andhra Pradesh Common Admissions Portal (cap.apcfss.in) under Technical PG Admissions for AP PGECET and GATE/GPAT 2026. It says the extension applies to both self-joining by candidates and physical reporting at colleges, and cites Cyclone Arnab as the reason.

    Don't Miss Entrance Updates 2026

    What the Extension Covers

    • Counselling: AP PGECET and GATE/GPAT 2026 Technical PG Admissions (M.Tech, M.Pharm and allied programmes)
    • Phase: Final Phase
    • Activities extended: Online self-joining and physical reporting at the allotted college
    • New last date: November 4, 2026
    • Official portal: cap.apcfss.in

    Who Should Report

The extension is for candidates who have been allotted a seat in the final phase. Anyone who does not complete both self-joining and college reporting by the new deadline risks losing the allotted seat. Candidates who have already reported do not need to repeat the process.

How to Complete Self-Joining and Reporting

    1. Visit the Common Admissions Portal at cap.apcfss.in and open the AP PGECET and GATE/GPAT 2026 admissions section.
    2. Log in with your registration details.
    3. Download the final phase seat allotment order.
    4. Complete the online self-joining process as per the instructions on the allotment order.
    5. Carry the allotment order, self-joining receipt and original certificates to the allotted college.
    6. Report in person and complete the admission formalities before November 4, 2026.

    Advice for Candidates

    • Do not wait for the last day. Travel and local conditions in cyclone-affected areas may cause delays.
    • Keep printed copies of the allotment order and self-joining receipt.
    • Check the Common Admissions Portal regularly, as it is the only authority for updates.
    • If you cannot reach the college because of weather, contact the college or the helpline listed on the portal as early as possible.
