LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has commenced the UP NEET PG 2024 counselling choice-filling and locking process for the special stray vacancy round. Eligible candidates can now fill in their preferences online through their candidate login portal. The process will remain open until March 17, 2025 (10 AM).

Choice-Filling and Locking Process
During this process, candidates must enter their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. They should carefully review their selections before submitting, as the final seat allotment will be based on these choices.
Steps to Complete Choice Filling & Locking
- Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in.
- Log in using the allotted credentials.
- Select the desired college and course.
- Click on the ‘+’ button to add new preferences.
- Rearrange choices by dragging them to the preferred order.
- Click on ‘Save and Next’ to lock in the final selection.
The seat allotment results will be declared on March 17, 2025, including the list of provisionally admitted candidates. Following this, selected candidates must download their allotment letters and complete their admission formalities between March 18 and March 20, 2025.
This round offers the last opportunity for candidates to secure a seat in PG medical courses in Uttar Pradesh. Those failing to complete the admission process within the stipulated period will forfeit their seats.
