NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura has announced the schedule for the Tripura National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 special stray vacancy round. The registration for this round begins today at noon on the official website, dme.tripura.gov.in. Candidates must complete their registration process by March 14, 12 noon.

    As per the official schedule, the merit list for the special stray vacancy round will be released on March 15. However, candidates who have already secured seats through MCC counselling or were allotted seats in previous rounds of Tripura NEET PG 2024 counselling are ineligible to participate in this round.

    NEET PG 2024 Cut-off Lowered

    The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has once again reduced the NEET PG 2024 cut-off to the 5th percentile. Additionally, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the counselling schedule for the NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy round. The MCC NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy seat allotment results will be announced on March 12.

    Candidates are required to pay the following registration fees for the special stray vacancy round:

    Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Process

    The choice-filling process for the Tripura NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy round will commence on March 15 at 5 PM and will remain open until March 17 at 10 AM. Seat allotment will be based on seat availability, candidates’ ranks, and their preferences. The seat allotment results will be declared on March 17.

    Document Submission and Admission Formalities

    Candidates must submit their allotment letters and service bonds at the DME office on March 18. Nomination collection will be conducted from March 18 to March 19 (until 5 PM). The physical document verification and admission formalities at the allotted colleges must be completed by March 20, 5 PM.
