New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration for CUET UG 2025 tonight at 11:50 pm. Interested candidates can complete the application process on the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in. The payment portal will remain open till tomorrow i.e. March 23, 2025.
CUET UG 2025, to be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, will be held from May 8 to June 1, 2025 for admission to central, state, private and deemed universities. UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadeesh Kumar said that 304 universities will participate in CUET UG 2025 admission.
Key Updates on CUET UG 2025
- The University of Delhi (DU) allows students without mathematics to apply for BCom (Honours). However, students must take the exam in subjects they passed or appeared for in Class 12.
- Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has expanded its CUET UG adoption to 25 programs this year, up from 20 last year.
- Changes include CBT mode, fewer examination cities, reduced papers, and 50 compulsory questions.
Application Correction Window
NTA will open the CUET UG 2025 application correction window from March 24 to March 26. Registered candidates can modify their application details during this period.
How to Apply for CUET UG 2025
- Visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the “Register” option on the homepage.
- Provide basic details to generate a registration number and password.
- Log in and enter personal and academic details.
- Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and applicable certificates.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Review the form and submit it.

- Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized board.
