DU CSAS UG 2026: Phase 2 Registration Begins Today; Check Full Schedule

The University of Delhi has kicked off Phase 2 of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) registration for Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27, starting today, July 3, 2026. The university has also released the complete admission schedule covering registration, simulated ranks, and the first two rounds of seat allocation, giving candidates a clear roadmap of what lies ahead.

    Don't Miss Entrance Updates 2026

This year, DU is offering 73 Bachelor’s Programmes and 150 B.A. Programme Combinations for admission.

    Registration Window

According to the notice issued by the Admission Branch on July 1, 2026, the registration process has been split into two phases:

    TaskDate
    Registration Phase IJune 26 – July 11, 2026 (till 11:59 PM)
    Registration Phase IIJuly 3 – July 11, 2026 (till 11:59 PM)
    Correction WindowJuly 10 (10:00 AM) – July 11, 2026 (till 11:59 PM)

Candidates must first complete Phase I by paying the registration fee before they become eligible to participate in Phase II.

    What Phase II Involves

Phase II is where candidates actually build their preference list, and DU has laid out three key steps for this stage.

Subject-Mapping: Candidates must map the subjects studied in Class XII with the test papers they appeared for in CUET (UG)-2026. It is mandatory to have appeared in CUET(UG)-2026 in the subjects passed in Class XII, or in a language/domain-specific subject closely related to it.

Preference Selection: Candidates can choose as many Programme + College combinations as they wish, provided they meet the programme-specific eligibility criteria. The order in which combinations are selected determines the preference order, so candidates should prioritise carefully using the “Top, Bottom and Preference Number” reordering options. Preferences must be saved regularly, and only saved combinations will be considered for allocation. Once the Phase II deadline passes, saved preferences will automatically lock.

Upgrade Procedure: After paying the programme fee within a round, candidates get the option to choose “Upgrade” or “Freeze,” and can reorder their higher preferences as many times as they wish until the round’s deadline.

Simulated Ranks and Preference Change Window

Once registration and correction close, DU will release simulated ranks to give candidates an indicative idea of where they stand.

    TaskDate
Declaration of Simulated Ranks5:00 PM, July 12, 2026
    Preference Change Window5:00 PM, July 12 – 4:59 PM, July 13, 2026

This short window allows candidates to reorder their preferences based on how realistic their simulated rank looks for each choice, before the list locks for the first allocation round.

Round 1: CSAS Allocation and Admission

    TaskDate
Declaration of First CSAS Allocation List5:00 PM, July 16, 2026
    Candidates to “Accept” Allocated SeatJuly 16 (5:00 PM) – July 18, 2026 (11:59 PM)

Candidates admitted in Round 1 can reorder their higher preferences till 11:59 PM on July 21, 2026, after which their last saved preferences will auto-lock.

    What Candidates Should Do Now

With Phase II registration now live, candidates should:

    • Complete subject-mapping accurately as per their CUET(UG)-2026 papers
    • Build and save their preference list across dream, realistic, and safety choices
    • Regularly check admission.uod.ac.in for updates, schedules, and announcements
    • Keep the July 11 deadline in mind, since both registration and correction windows close on the same date

DU has advised all candidates to visit the official website regularly, as further updates on admission status and schedules will be communicated only through the portal.
