NTA Releases NEET 2025 Provisional Answer Key and OMR Response Sheets

NTA has released the NEET 2025 provisional answer key and OMR sheets on June 3, allowing candidates to challenge them online until June 5 by paying ₹200 per question.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET 2025 provisional answer key and candidates’ OMR response sheets on June 3, 2025. Candidates can now raise objections or challenges to the provisional answer key or their recorded responses until June 5, 2025.

    To challenge a question in the answer key or the OMR sheet, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question. The entire process is conducted online through the official NEET website: https://neet.nta.nic.in.

    NTA stated, “We have uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheets, and Recorded Responses for NEET (UG) 2025 on our website for candidates to review and challenge, if necessary.” Additionally, NTA has also emailed a copy of each candidate’s NEET 2025 Retest OMR Answer Sheet to their registered email addresses.

    Candidates can submit objections against both the provisional answer key and the OMR grading by paying the applicable fee of INR 200 per question.

    Steps to Challenge the NEET 2025 Provisional Answer Key

    1. Visit the official NEET website: www.neet.nta.nic.in
    2. Click on ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge(s)’
    3. Select your Test Booklet Code
    4. Log in using your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
    5. View the questions (organized by Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology – 45 questions each)
    6. To challenge an answer:
      • Tick the checkbox next to your preferred alternative option
      • Upload supporting documents (in a single PDF file, if any)
      • Click ‘Save your Claim’
    7. On the next screen, review all your selected challenges
    8. Click ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
    9. Pay the challenge fee (INR 200 per question) via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking
    10. After successful payment, download and print the confirmation receipt

    Steps to Challenge the NEET 2025 OMR Response Sheet

    1. Visit www.neet.nta.nic.in
    2. Log in using your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
    3. Click on ‘OMR Challenge’ in the left panel
    4. Select the OMR Challenge Link
    5. Review the questions displayed in sequence for each subject
    6. Choose the questions you want to challenge
    7. Select the appropriate response from the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column
    8. Click ‘Submit’, then proceed to the next screen
    9. Review your selected challenges and click ‘Submit and Pay Fee Finally’
    10. Pay the fee (INR 200 per challenged question/grade) via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking
    11. Download and print the receipt after successful payment

    Post-Challenge Process

    Once the challenge window closes on June 5, 2025, NTA’s panel of subject experts will thoroughly evaluate each objection. If a challenge is found valid, NTA will revise the NEET 2025 answer key accordingly. The final result will be based on the revised answer key and is scheduled to be declared by June 14, 2025.
