The National Testing Agency (NTA) will shut the OMR response challenge window for NEET UG 2026 re-exam candidates today, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Anyone who sat for the re-exam held on June 21 and wants to dispute their recorded OMR response must act before this cutoff there’s no extension expected.
What the OMR Challenge Facility Is For
NTA opened this window on July 13, giving re-exam candidates a chance to match what they actually marked on their physical OMR sheet against what the scanning system recorded. To make this easier, scanned copies of each candidate’s OMR sheet were also emailed to their registered ID.
If a candidate spots a mismatch say, the system recorded a different option than what they filled in, or any other data error on the sheet they can flag it online by picking the specific question and stating the option they believe they actually marked.
