NEET UG 2025: NTA Warns MBBS Aspirants; Apply Before March 7

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a new notice warning students to apply before the deadline to avoid a last-minute rush. The last date for registration is 7 March.

NEW DELHI: The NTA warned medical aspirants to complete their NEET UG 2025 registration before the March 7 deadline at neet.nta.nic.in. It scheduled the exam for 4 May 2025. The correction window will remain open from March 9 to 11.

    The NTA advised candidates to complete their application early to avoid last-minute issues. It urged them to submit their forms on time to prevent any last-minute rush.

    The NTA also asked Candidates to regularly visit the NTA website(s) nta.ac.in/ and neet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates.

    NEET UG: Last Week for Registration

    If you dream of becoming a doctor, NEET UG 2025 offers a great opportunity. The registration is closing on 7 March. The NTA has not issued a notice on the date extension. And the NTA is unlikely to extend the application date.

    This is the last chance for NEET aspirants. This Friday, 7 March, the NTA will close the registration window.

    Exam Pattern and New Rules

    As per the revised exam pattern for 2025, the question paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions. NEET UG 2025 will have 45 questions in the Physics and Chemistry sections each and 90 questions in Biology.

    The NTA’s New Rules

    • The NTA will implement biometric verification at exam centers.
    • There has been a rule change in the tie-breaking system.
    • The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode.
    • The Examination center will open 3 hours earlier before the start of the exam.
    • Students need to have at least 6 passport-size photographs.
