    Don't Miss Exam Updates 2025

    Step 1: Register Online

To join the counselling, go to the official MCC website: www.mcc.nic.in

    • Click on “UG Medical Counselling”
    • Select “New Registration”
    • Enter your NEET 2025 Roll Number, Application Number, and other details
    • Set a password and complete the form
    • Pay the counselling fee online (using card, UPI, or net banking)

Note: Check all your personal and academic details carefully before submitting.

Step 2: Fill and Lock Your College Choices

After registering, you can choose the colleges and courses you prefer.

    • Select as many colleges and courses as you want
    • Arrange them in the order of your preference
    • Lock your choices before the deadline. If you don’t, the system will lock the last saved choices automatically

Note: Check out the previous year cutoff and college reviews before making your selection.

Step 3: Wait for Seat Allotment

Once choice-filling ends, MCC will allot seats based on:

    • Your NEET UG 2025 rank
    • Your category
    • Available seats
    • Your filled choices

MCC will publish the seat allotment result on its website. Download your allotment letter and keep a copy.

    Step 4: Verify Your Documents

If you get a seat, visit the allotted college for document verification.

    Bring these documents:

    • NEET 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard
    • Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and Passing Certificates
    • Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport)
    • Category Certificate (if needed)
    • Passport-size photos
    • Seat allotment letter

Note: Carry both original documents and photocopies. Missing documents can cancel your seat.

Step 5: Report to the College

Go to the allotted college to confirm your admission.

    • Reach the college within the given time
    • Submit your documents
    • Complete biometric and other formalities
    • Pay the admission fee and collect the receipt

Note: If you don’t report, your seat will be cancelled and you may not join further rounds.

Step 6: Join Later Rounds if Needed

If seats are still available, MCC will hold more rounds — Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy.

    • If you don’t get a seat in Round 1, fill new choices in Round 2
    • If you got a seat but want a better one, choose “Willing to Upgrade”
    • You can join Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds if you miss earlier chances

Note: States run their counselling separately. Follow their rules if you apply there too.

    Why NEET Counselling Is Important

    • It decides where you will study: Without counselling, you can’t get a medical seat
    • It’s fair: Seats are given based on rank and your preferences
    • You get more choices: You can apply to many colleges across India
    • It protects you: It prevents scams and fake admissions
    • You get multiple chances: Even if you miss one round, you can try again in the next
