NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 on May 4 in pen-and-paper mode to select candidates for undergraduate medical programs in the 2025-26 academic session. NEET UG 2025 scores will determine admissions for Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS) and Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) programs.
NTA has revised the NEET UG 2025 exam pattern by eliminating optional questions from Section B. The exam will now consist of 180 multiple-choice questions. The physics and chemistry sections will each include 45 questions, while the biology section will comprise 90 questions. Each section will carry 180 marks, maintaining the total score at 720, consistent with previous years. The marking scheme remains unchanged—students will earn four marks for every correct answer, lose one mark for each incorrect response, and receive no marks for unanswered questions.
