New Delhi: Maharashtra ranks second after Tamil Nadu in terms of the number of government medical colleges and offers MBBS admission based on the NEET UG 2025 rank. It offers 5,125 seats in 32 government colleges and 5,720 seats in 36 private colleges. The authorities fill the seats through 15% AIQ and 85% state quota counselling.
The National Testing Agency will conduct NEET UG 2025 on May 4 in pen-paper format, with a total of 720 marks.
Medical courses after Class 12th without NEET 2025
The NEET cut-off for MBBS admission in Maharashtra’s government medical colleges saw a significant drop last year. The closing ranks for various categories are listed below:
