New Delhi: IIT Delhi will start accepting admission applications for the March Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025 from today. Eligible candidates appearing for JAM 2025 can apply through the JOAPS portal joaps.iitd.ac.in.
The last date to apply for admission to JAM 2025 is April 9. The IITs declared the JAM 2025 results on March 18 and released the final answer key on March 19. Candidates received their JAM scorecards on March 24.
Candidates can apply for admission to their preferred programmes in 22 IITs, which offer over 2,000 seats. Various institutes offer postgraduate programmes such as MSc, MSc Tech, MSc Research, Dual Degree, Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD, for which candidates can apply.
Admission Process
- IIT Delhi will conduct the JAM 2025 counselling session for MSc, MTech, and PhD admissions.
- Candidates must submit their admission applications before the deadline on April 9.
- IIT Delhi will hold four rounds of counselling.
- The institute will release the first admission list on May 26.
- The merit list will display candidates’ names, chosen programmes, and ranks.
- Candidates can download the admission list using their login credentials.
- To confirm their seats, candidates must pay the admission fee during the JAM counselling session.
