NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) has released the updated registration dates for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP 2025). This portal offers admission to MTech in IITs, NITs and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) based on GATE 2025 scores.
The registration process for GATE COAP 2025 Round 1, which was scheduled to begin on May 13, will now begin on May 14. All the candidates shortlisted in GATE 2025, 2024, and 2023 can register themselves for MTech admissions and PSU job notifications on this portal.
Many renowned institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IISc Bangalore, IIT Bhilai, IIT BHU, IIT Dharwad will accept candidates as per their GATE ranking.
In rounds 1 to 4 of GATE COAP 2025, candidates will have the option to choose from three options: “Accept and Hold, “Retain and Wait, or Reject. However, the “Retain and Wait” feature can be used twice for the same offer. For rounds 6 to 10, candidates will have two options available: “Accept and Hold” or “Reject.” The final round, round 10, will be reserved for those IITs that are willing to extend the counselling session beyond the ninth round.

GATE 2025 Updates and COAP Schedule
IIT Roorkee declared the GATE 2025 results on March 19, although the final answer key is yet to be uploaded. The COAP 2025 schedule provides specific time windows for candidates to review offers and make decisions between 10 AM and 6 PM on the scheduled dates. The detailed schedule is as follows:
