Uttarakhand: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 scorecard today, on March 28. Eligible engineering candidates can download their GATE 2025 scorecard from the official gate2025. iitr.ac.in.
Candidates must enter their enrollment ID and password to log in and download the GATE 2025 scorecard. The scorecard will include details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, GATE score, normalized marks, total marks, qualifying marks, all India rank, validity period, and the total number of candidates who appeared for the entrance exam.
Candidates can download the GATE 2025 scorecard until May 31, 2025. After this date, GATE-qualified candidates who need a soft copy of their scorecard can obtain it by paying a fee of Rs 500 per test paper until December 31, 2025. However, from January 1, 2026, onwards, IIT Roorkee will not issue any scorecards for GATE 2025-qualified candidates, as stated in the information brochure.
IIT Roorkee declared the GATE 2025 results on March 19 and released the list of GATE 2025 toppers. According to the list, Rahul Kumar Singh secured the top rank in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a perfect raw score of 100. In the Mechanical Engineering stream, Rajnish Bijarnia topped the exam with 95.33 raw marks and a GATE score of 967.
Steps to Download GATE 2025 Scorecard
Follow these steps to download the GATE 2025 scorecard:
- Visit the official GATE 2025 website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on the link to access the GATE 2025 scorecard.
- Log in using your enrollment ID and password, then select the scorecard tab.
- View your GATE 2025 scorecard displayed on the screen.
- Download the scorecard and print a copy for future reference.
Engineering aspirants can use their GATE 2025 scorecard to apply for master’s and doctoral programs, including Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Science (MSc), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Various institutes, such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and other participating institutes, accept GATE scores for admission. Additionally, many public sector undertakings (PSUs) consider GATE scores to shortlist candidates for recruitment to technical positions.
