CUET UG 2026 Topper List Released: Check Who Made It to the Top

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official CUET UG 2026 topper list on June 23, 2026, alongside the declaration of results at cuet.nta.nic.in. The list ranks candidates on the basis of their aggregate NTA scores across five subjects and covers overall, gender-wise, category-wise, and Divyangjan toppers.

    With over 15.68 lakh students registered and 11.64 lakh appearing for the exam this year, the competition was intense. The topper list gives a clear picture of which states and categories produced the highest scorers in CUET UG 2026.

    Overall Top 20 CUET UG 2026 Topper List

    Delhi dominated the overall rankings, placing four candidates in the top 20. Rajasthan followed with four names as well, while Bihar contributed three. The scores in the top 20 ranged from 1177.65 to 1232.19 all aggregated across five subjects.

    Gender-Wise Top 10 CUET UG 2026

    Male Toppers

    Among male candidates, Saksham Goel from Delhi topped with 1230.82. Udit Chaturvedi from Himachal Pradesh and Bihar’s Shreyansh Mishra rounded out the top three. The 10th rank in the male category went to Abhiraj Sarkar from West Bengal, who scored 1173.59.

    Female Toppers

    Devina Gahlot from Delhi leads the female category with 1232.19, also making her the overall topper in CUET UG 2026. Khushi Sablok (1203.78) and Jayati Chhaparia (1202.15), both from Uttar Pradesh, secured the second and third spots respectively among female candidates.

    Category-Wise CUET UG 2026 Toppers

    Scheduled Caste (SC)

    In the SC Male category, Alex Hemam from Delhi topped with 1142.98, followed by Ankit Singh, also from Delhi, at 1137.11. The SC Female category was led by Riya Bharti from Delhi with a score of 1171.46 higher than the top SC male score this year. Simran Kaur from Uttar Pradesh (1111.14) and Mahi Verma, also from Uttar Pradesh (1098.02), came in second and third.

    Scheduled Tribe (ST)

    Daniel Remdor Sonowal Warjri from Meghalaya topped among ST Male candidates with 1079.96, while Yatharth Kataria from Delhi placed second at 1062.64. On the ST Female side, Ihomi Swu from Nagaland led with 1160.41, followed closely by Junee Rumba Mpamei from Manipur at 1159.14.

    Divyangjan (PwD)

    Esha Nayak from Uttar Pradesh topped the Divyangjan list with 1092.95. Jasmine Kumawat from Rajasthan came second at 1057.79, and Bihar’s Ayush placed third with 1026.84.

    What Happens Next? CUET UG 2026 Admission Process

    With the CUET UG 2026 results now declared and the topper list out, students can move ahead with university applications. NTA’s role concludes with the release of scores each participating university will now independently release its merit list, cut-offs, and counselling schedule. Over 240 universities, including Delhi University (DU), JNU, BHU, and Jamia Millia Islamia, accept CUET UG scores for undergraduate admissions.

    Students are advised to download their scorecards from cuet.nta.nic.in keep their documents ready including Class 10 and 12 marksheets, category certificates if applicable, and a valid ID and track the official portals of universities they wish to apply to for further admission updates.
