NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) expects to begin the counselling after March 3, 2025. Ongoing legal disputes over alleged errors in the answer key have delayed the CLAT 2025 counselling process for both LLB (Bachelor of Law) and LLM (Master of Law) admissions.
The Delhi High Court will hold a crucial hearing on March 3, 2025, which will play a key role in deciding the future of the counselling process. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, the CNLU has postponed the start of the CLAT 2025 counselling process.
Therefore, the counselling process will likely start after the Delhi High Court hearing on March 3, 2025.
After conducting the CLAT 2025 exam on December 1, 2024, for 24 NLUs, the authorities released the results, which led to controversy. Candidates claimed there were errors in the answer key and raised concerns about the high objection fees. In response, the Delhi High Court ordered result revisions. The CNLU then appealed to the Supreme Court, further delaying the admissions process.
