Assam: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has released the schedule for Assam NEET PG 2024 counselling special stray vacancy round. This round aims to fill 50% of the vacant postgraduate seats in government medical colleges of Assam and BBCI, Guwahati, under the Assam state quota for the 2024 session. The counselling process is taking place after reducing the NEET 2024 cutoff to five percentiles.
Candidates who have already taken admission in the stray round of AIQ or State quota cannot participate in the special stray vacancy round for state quota seats. Assam NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round will commence on March 13, 2025, and end on March 20, 2025.

Candidates who got seats in the previous round can surrender them by March 11, 2025, without losing their fees or security deposit. If they surrender after this date, they will have to pay a penalty.
