The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the tentative schedule for all its entrance exams in a recent notice. As per the notice, it will conduct PUBDET 2025 on June 21, 2025 (Saturday) and June 22, 2025 (Sunday), while PUMDET 2025 will be held on July 27, 2025 (Sunday). However, the exam body has said that these dates may change due to unavoidable circumstances. It will soon announce the application dates for both exams. Once the registration opens, candidates can apply through the official web portals – wbjeeb.nic.in/pubdet and wbjeeb.nic.in/pumdet.

Steps to Apply for PUBDET and PUMDET
Follow these steps to apply for PUBDET and PUMDET:
- Visit the official website given above.
- Click on the link for the 2025 application form.
- Register by entering your personal details like name, parent’s name, date of birth, category, email id, phone number etc.
- Fill the application form by providing details like your preferred course, at least two exam centre zones and academic information.
- Upload scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee (INR 500 + bank service charges) through net banking, credit card, debit card or UPI.
After submitting the application form, you will see a confirmation page stating that your registration for the exam is complete.
