TANCET 2025: Exam Begins Today; Check Timings and Dress Code for Males and Females

Anna University is conducting the TANCET 2025 exam today. on March 22. Candidates appearing for the state-level MBA and MCA entrance exams must follow the schedule mentioned on their admit cards.

    Exam Schedule

    The exam schedule is given in the table below:

    Note: Candidates should reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on their TANCET admit card.

    Exam officials will verify candidates’ TANCET admit cards and photo ID proofs before allowing them to enter the test centre.

    Dress Code for Men and Women

    The exam officials will frisk the candidates at the TANCET exam centre and check for the prohibited items listed on the admit card. Candidates should not carry any prohibited items inside the exam centre.

    They should wear simple, light and comfortable clothes, such as half-sleeved shirts or T-shirts, trousers and sandals. The officials may ask the candidates to remove shoes or clothes with multiple pockets for inspection. Candidates should also avoid wearing jewellery, metal objects or any other accessories.

    Dress Restrictions for TANCET 2025

    The authorities do not allow female candidates to wear kurtas, leggings, palazzos, stoles, dupattas or scarves. They should also avoid underwired bras due to security check procedures.

    Both male and female candidates should not wear hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets or shirts with large buttons, as this may delay the security check.

    Candidates cannot wear headwear including caps, mufflers and scarves, unless it is necessary for religious or cultural reasons.
