    Eligibility Criteria

    We have mentioned below all the important information about the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

    B.Sc. NursingAge: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year; maximum 35 years.
    Education: 10+2 with Science (PCB) and English, with at least 45% marks in PCB combined and passing English individually. Candidates from recognized State Open School/NIOS are also eligible.
    Medical Fitness: Candidate must be medically fit.
    Other: Married candidates are eligible. Colour-blind candidates may be eligible with corrective lenses/spectacles as applicable.
    Selection: Admission is based on entrance examination merit. The test includes Aptitude for Nursing, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (20 marks each). Minimum qualifying marks: 50%.
    Reservation: Seats are reserved as per applicable Central/State/UT rules. SC/ST/OBC candidates may have 40% minimum marks in PCB instead of 45%. 5% seats are reserved for eligible persons with specified disabilities as per applicable rules.
    Admission: Once a year. Semester generally starts on 1 August. No admission after 30 September.
    Foreign Nationals: 12th-standard qualification equivalency must be obtained from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
    GNMAge: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year.
    Education: 10+2 with English and at least 40% marks from a recognized board. Science is preferred. Recognized State Open School and NIOS candidates are also eligible.
    Other Eligibility: 10+2 with English and 40% marks in Vocational ANM or Vocational Health Care Science may also be accepted as per applicable rules. Registered ANMs are eligible.
    Medical Fitness: Candidate must be medically fit.
    Reservation: Reservation is provided as per applicable government rules. 3% disability reservation may apply for eligible candidates. SC/ST candidates may receive applicable relaxation.
    Admission: Students are admitted once a year, within the sanctioned intake.
    Foreign Nationals: 12th-standard qualification equivalency must be obtained from AIU, New Delhi.
    M.Sc. NursingRegistration: Candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) or equivalent with a State Nursing Registration Council.
    Education: B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with at least 55% aggregate marks.
    Recognition: The nursing qualification must be from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
    Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. For Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing candidates, minimum 1 year of experience before or after the course is required.
    Medical Fitness: Candidate must be medically fit.
    Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation may be provided to SC/ST candidates as per applicable rules.
    Selection: Admission is based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the University or competent authority.
