The National Law University (NLU) Meghalaya has extended the admission deadline for its UG, PG, and PhD programs to March 18. Candidates can fill out the admission form on nlumeg.ac.in. The NLU Meghalaya Entrance Exam 2025 will be held on April 5.
UG Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA in Class 12.
- Students appearing for their Class 12 exams can also apply by submitting their Class 10 mark sheet.
Courses Offered
NLU Meghalaya provides three UG programs:
- BA LLB (Hons.) in Policy Science
- BBA LLB (Hons.) in FinTech
- BS LLB (Hons.) in Data Science

Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria For PG
- Candidates must have secured a first division with 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA.
- They must hold either a five-year LLB/BL degree from a recognized university or a three-year LLB/BL degree along with a bachelor’s degree.

NLU Meghalaya PG Admission Process
- NLU Meghalaya will select candidates based on their performance in the MEG PAT exam and a personal interview.
- The university will notify shortlisted candidates via email for the interview round.
PhD Courses Offered
NLU Meghalaya offers PhD programs in Law, Policy Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Data Science.
Candidates can apply under the following categories:
- Regular assistantship or individual fellowship (CSIR, UGC, DBT, INSPIRE, ICMR).
- Sponsored candidates, working professionals, and Judges of the High Court and Supreme Court.
- Foreign nationals.
