The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy round counselling dates on its official website. Eligible candidates who scored above the 5th percentile in the NEET PG exam can apply. MCC is conducting NEET PG counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats across all states and 100% seats in central and deemed universities.

    MCC will start NEET PG 2024 counselling registration for the special stray vacancy round from March 6 to 8, 2025. Eligible students can apply online at mcc.nic.in. Those who register before the deadline can choose their preferred colleges and courses. MCC will conduct choice-filling and locking from March 6 to 10, 2025.

    NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Admission Guidelines

    MCC is conducting the NEET PG counselling process to fill the remaining seats in PG medical courses across India. The officials have released important guidelines for the special stray vacancy round, which are listed below:

    • MCC will start fresh registration for NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy round and students will have to complete a new choice-filling process to secure admission in PG medical courses.
    • All AIQ-registered candidates will have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000 for government quota seats, while those applying for deemed university seats will have to deposit Rs 3,00,000.
    • Candidates participating in the NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy counselling round will have to submit an undertaking regarding seat allotment during the choice-filling process.
