KVS Extends Admission 2025 Deadline: Until March 24 at kvsangathan.nic.in

KVS has extended the last date for admission registration for Balvatika 1 & 3 and Class 1 to March 24, 2025, and the provisional list and lottery is scheduled for March 28, 2025.

New Delhi: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has extended the last date for KVS admission 2025 registration to March 24, 2025. The registration process for admission to Balvatika 1 & 3 and Class 1 is currently underway. Parents and guardians can apply through the official KVS website kvsangathan.nic.in. Initially, KVS had fixed the last date for registration as March 21, 2025.

    “Regarding the office letter dated 05.03.2025 regarding new admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the academic session 2025-26, KVS has extended the last date for online registration and submission of applications for Balvatika-1 & 3 (wherever applicable) to 24.03.2025 (up to 10:00 PM),” the official notice said.

    As per the revised schedule, KVS will announce the provisional list of selected and waitlisted students on March 28, 2025. Additionally, the lottery for Balvatika-1 and 3 (wherever applicable) will be held on March 28, 2025, instead of the previously scheduled March 28, 2025.

    Required Documents

    Parents need to upload the following documents while applying for KVS Admission 2025:

    • A valid mobile number (Indian SIM)
    • A valid email address
    • A digital photograph of the child (JPEG, max size: 256KB)
    • A scanned birth certificate (JPEG/PDF)
    • Proof of address (JPEG/PDF)
    • A caste certificate (if applicable, JPEG/PDF)
    • A government certificate for the EWS category (if applicable)
    • Transfer details of the parent or grandparent (if applying based on service credentials)

    KVS Admission 2025: Age Requirements

    • Class 1: The minimum age required is six years as of March 31, 2025.
    • Balvatika 1: The child must be 3 to 4 years old as of March 31, 2025.
    • Balvatika 2: The child must be 4 to 5 years old as of March 31, 2025.
    • Balvatika 3: The child must be 5 to 6 years old as of March 31, 2025.
