New Delhi: JS Institute of Design (JSID) has announced that it will provide scholarships to students who clear the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (JCEED) and secure a rank up to 2000.
According to the official statement, the Institute of Design will provide a 25% scholarship on tuition fees for UCEED-qualified students enrolling in undergraduate degree programmes in design.
Nien Hsiao, Dean, JS Institute of Design, said, “Over the past few decades, India has witnessed tremendous growth in design-related services. These services have become crucial for the creation of new products and services in the country. In line with these trends, we are committed to helping our students develop their creative abilities. This scholarship reflects our appreciation and support for meritorious students who have a natural talent for design.”
The institute says that the Indian design industry is growing at a rate of 25% annually across multiple disciplines including graphic, interior and fashion design.
JSID offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) design programmes in various fields such as interior design, advertising design, visual communication and game design.
