JoSAA 2025 First Mock Allotment Out Today: Check Steps & Next Actions

JoSAA's first mock seat allotment will be out today, June 9 at 8 pm find out what it is, how it differs from the final allotment, and what steps to take next.

JoSAA is set to announce the first mock seat allotment for 2025 today, based on choices filled by candidates till June 8 at 8 pm. This is only a trial to give students an idea of possible allotments and is not the final result. The seat allotment may change as registration and choice filling will continue until June 12.

    1. Visit josaa.nic.in
    2. Click on “JoSAA 2025 Registration/Choice Filling” or “Mock Allotment”
    3. Log in with your JEE Main 2025 Application Number and Password
    4. View your mock allotment result

    What to Do After Mock Allotment

    • Check your allotted college and branch
    • If satisfied, keep your choices or make minor changes
    • If not satisfied:
      • Reorder preferences
      • Add safer options
      • Remove unwanted choices
      • Avoid large rank gaps between choices
    • Check Mock Allotment 2 on June 11 to see if changes worked

    Note: Admission to IITs will be based on JEE Advanced 2025 ranks, while admission to NITs, IIITs, IIEST and other GFTIs will be done using JEE Main 2025 ranks. The JoSAA counselling process will include a total of six rounds to complete seat allocation.
