Candidates who have been allotted seats through JAC Delhi Counselling 2026 for admission to engineering and other technical programmes must now prepare for the document verification round. This is a mandatory step before a seat allotment can be treated as confirmed.
As per the official notice, every allotted candidate must report in person at the designated reporting centre or allotted institute, carrying original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies, strictly as per the schedule announced under JAC Delhi Counselling 2026.
Why This Step Is Important
Physical document verification is the stage where authorities cross-check a candidate’s eligibility, category claims, and academic records against the original certificates. Any missing or mismatched document at this stage can hold up the admission process, so candidates and parents should keep all paperwork ready well ahead of their reporting date.

Important Points for Candidates to Remember
- Carry both originals and one set of self-attested photocopies of every listed document.
- Confirm the reporting date and venue for your allotted institute before travelling.
- Keep a few spare passport-size photographs, as institutes sometimes require additional copies.
- Reserved-category and PwD candidates should verify all category-specific certificates in advance to avoid delays.
Candidates are advised to arrange all documents in a single folder and tally them against this checklist before reporting for verification under JAC Delhi Counselling 2026. Incomplete documentation may affect confirmation of the allotted seat, so early preparation is essential.
