Indian Maritime University has started IMU CET 2025 registrations, with the exam scheduled for May 24 and the deadline to apply set for May 2.

New Delhi: The Indian Maritime University (IMU) has opened registrations for the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) 2025. Candidates can complete the registration process on the official website, imu.cbexams.com, until May 2. The IMU CET 2025 exam is scheduled for May 24.

    Registration Fees

    The registration fee for the IMU CET 2025 BBA program is Rs 200 for General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, while Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates must pay Rs 140. For the BTech program, the registration fee is Rs 1,000 for UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, whereas SC and ST candidates need to pay Rs 700.

    Admit Card and Results

    Based on previous years’ trends, IMU is expected to release the IMU CET 2025 admit card in the first week of May. The official result date has not been announced yet, but last year’s results were declared on June 15.

    IMU CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

    Academic Requirements:

    • Candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12.
    • A minimum of 50% marks in the English subject in Class 12 is required.
    • SC and ST candidates receive a 5% relaxation in the Class 12 marks requirement.

    Age Limit:

    • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of August 1, 2025.
    • The maximum age limit is 25 years as of August 1, 2025.
    • SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation.

    IMU CET 2025 Exam Pattern

    IMU CET 2025 for BTech will be conducted online in English. The exam will last three hours and comprise 200 multiple-choice questions. The paper includes four sections: Physics, Chemistry, English, Aptitude, and Mathematics, with Physics and Mathematics carrying the highest weightage. According to the marking scheme, candidates will earn one mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
