New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has begun accepting applications for MTech admissions 2025 for candidates who have qualified GATE. The institute has set April 15, 2025 as the last date to submit applications. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website.
IIT Jodhpur will announce the list of shortlisted candidates on April 25, 2025. General and OBC category applicants must pay an application fee of ₹300, while SC, ST and PwD candidates must pay ₹150. If a candidate applies for multiple programs, the system will automatically calculate and sum up the application fee.
IIT Jodhpur MTech 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements for IIT Jodhpur’s MTech program:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or a master’s degree in science, MCA, pharmacy, medical sciences, agricultural sciences or a related field.
- Minimum Marks Requirement:
- General/OBC category: Minimum 60% marks (or CGPA 6.0/10).
- SC/ST/PwD category: Minimum 55% marks (or CGPA 5.5/10).
- Direct Admission Criteria:
- Candidates from any IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or above are exempted from GATE but must appear for a personal interview (PI).
- IIT Jodhpur will prepare a merit list and invite shortlisted candidates for a PI. Candidates who qualify will receive admission offers.
- GATE Requirement:
- Full-time candidates seeking financial support must have a valid GATE score or qualify for an equivalent national exam.
- Candidates may also qualify through a written test and interview conducted by IIT Jodhpur.

Candidates with a valid GATE score will be invited for a written test or interview and IIT Jodhpur will shortlist candidates based on their performance. The following MTech programs are available:
