New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has officially extended the last date for registration for MTech, MPharm and PhD admissions 2025. Eligible candidates can now apply online at pgadmission.iitbhu.ac.in till April 9, 2025.
Candidates who have cleared the GATE 2025 exam are eligible to apply for IIT BHU PG admissions. The institute had earlier set the last date for registration as April 7 but extended it to give more time to applicants. Along with the institute registration, candidates must also complete their COAP 2025 counselling registration to be considered for seat allotment.
IIT BHU MTech Admission 2025: Application Fee
- General and OBC-NCL candidates: ₹500
- SC/ST candidates: ₹250
IIT BHU MTech Eligibility Criteria 2025
To apply for MTech admission at IIT BHU, candidates must:
- Hold a BTech or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- Have at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Possess a valid GATE 2025 score.
- Candidates with 8.0 CGPA or above are exempt from GATE and will be evaluated through an interview.
IIT BHU MTech Selection Process 2025
IIT BHU will shortlist candidates based on their GATE 2025 scores and COAP counselling. The institute will also conduct written tests and interviews for certain programs. Final seat allotments will depend on merit and availability, and the institute will publish the final admission list on its official website.
