The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, has extended the registration last date for UG Admission 2026 to 17 June 2026. Candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2026 and wish to apply for BTech or Dual Degree programmes at IIST must complete their registration at admission.iist.ac.in before the last date.
A provisional registration facility has also been enabled for candidates who are awaiting revision of their Class XII board examination performance status.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must have qualified JEE Advanced 2026
- Minimum 75% marks in Class XII (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) — 65% for SC/ST candidates
- Age limit: Not more than 21 years (for general category)
Programmes Offered
IIST offers the following UG programmes:
- B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, and Engineering Physics
- Dual Degree (BTech + MTech) – 5-year programme in Engineering Physics with MTech specialisation
Graduates maintaining the minimum required CGPA are eligible for direct absorption into ISRO.
