The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has started the BITSAT 2025 Session 2 exam today, June 22. This exam is a gateway for students aiming for admission into undergraduate programs at BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. The exam will run until June 26, 2025 in two shifts each day. Conducted in a computer-based format, BITSAT tests students on physics, chemistry, maths/biology, logical reasoning and English proficiency. Thousands of candidates are appearing for this highly competitive entrance exam across various centres in India.
Candidates appearing for the exam must carry the following to the test centre:
- BITSAT 2025 admit card
- Valid photo ID proof
- Two recent passport-size photographs
The BITSAT 2025 exam will be conducted in two shifts daily:
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
To avoid any last-minute issues, candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam starts.

Dress Code and Exam Day Guidelines
- Avoid wearing jewellery such as heavy earrings, bangles, or rings.
- Do not wear shoes or boots. Opt for simple slippers or sandals.
- Dress in comfortable and simple attire to ensure a smooth entry during the security check.
BITSAT 2025 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The BITSAT 2025 question paper is divided into four sections:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning
- Mathematics or Biology (depending on the stream)
- Total Questions: 130 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
- Total Marks: 390 marks
- Duration: 3 hours
Marking Scheme:
- +3 marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark for each incorrect response
What Happens After the Exam?
Candidates who qualify for BITSAT 2025 will be eligible to participate in the BITSAT counselling process for admission to:
- BITS Pilani
- BITS Goa
- BITS Hyderabad
The BITSAT 2025 counselling schedule will be released online. Only those who meet the cut-off scores will be invited for admission to the participating campuses.
