AKTU has released a revised counselling schedule specifically for NRI/NRI0 candidates and Kashmiri Migrants for admissions to affiliated institutions under the UPTAC 2026 counselling process for the academic year 2026–27.
The counselling will be held physically at AKTU, Lucknow on a date that has now been officially confirmed.

Key Points to Note
Online applications close on June 30. NRI and Kashmiri Migrant candidates who have not yet applied online must do so immediately at https://uptac.samarth.edu.in before the deadline. This is the only window available for online registration.
Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on July 3. After the application window closes, AKTU will publish the list of candidates shortlisted for counselling. Candidates must check this list before appearing for counselling.
Both NRI and Kashmiri Migrant counselling will be held on July 6 at AKTU Lucknow. Candidates must be present in person at the university. The NRI counselling is scheduled at 11:00 AM on that day.
This is a physical counselling process. Candidates are required to visit AKTU’s campus in Lucknow on the scheduled date. Carry all original documents along with self-attested photocopies.
