How to Apply for Punjab NEET UG 2025 MBBS/BDS Admissions?

- Apply online after NEET 2025 results are announced.

Punjab NEET UG 2025 Admission Policy
1. Centralized Admission via NEET UG
All MBBS/BDS admissions whether under Government Quota, Management Quota, NRI, or Minority Quota will strictly follow NEET UG merit. No college can admit students outside this process.
2. Counselling by BFUHS
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot is the authorized body to conduct centralized counselling for all seats (except 15% All India Quota seats).
3. Eligibility for State Quota Seats
To apply under Punjab State Quota, candidates must:
- Be Indian citizens
- Have completed 10+1 and 10+2 from Punjab, or
- Be born in Punjab
- Be permanent residents of Punjab
Special provisions exist for NRIs, children of defence personnel, minorities and central government employees posted in Punjab.

5. Minority Institutions Special Rules

- MBBS: ₹6.60 lakh/year (10% annual hike)
- BDS: ₹2.20 lakh/year (10% annual hike)
6. Important Admission Conditions
- Colleges cannot demand full course fees upfront.
- Refunds are provided if students shift colleges during counselling.
- Separate counselling will be held for NRI seats.
- Unfilled NRI or reserved seats will be converted to General category.
7. Admission Committees
Dedicated MBBS and BDS admission committees led by the Vice-Chancellor of BFUHS include representatives from departments like Social Justice, Defence Welfare, and Sports.
8. Appeals & Clarifications
- For disputes, contact the Director of Research and Medical Education, Punjab.
- The Administrative Secretary has the authority to update or clarify any clause.
