The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will open the portal for the list of candidates (LOC) 2025 corrections from today, April 9, 2025. Schools can use the Camc portal to correct student details like name, date of birth, parent information, and a few other fields.
The board sent four reminder letters to schools on 30.09.2024, 01.10.2024, 02.10.2024, 03.10.2024 and 04.10.2024, asking them to fill in the location data correctly. But even after these reminders, many schools entered incorrect details and later asked the board to correct the mistakes in the students’ information.
The board has asked schools to upload one PDF file that includes the admission form, admission withdrawal register, and transfer certificate (if there is one) when they request corrections. The last date to change CBSE LOC data 2025 is April 17.
CBSE LOC 2025 Correction Guidelines
- All old correction requests can now be resubmitted through the CAMC portal.
- If a request is rejected, no further changes will be allowed.
- Only minor corrections are allowed.
- Complete changes in the name of the candidate or parents are not allowed.
- Schools must pay a processing fee of Rs 1,000 per candidate for regular students.
CBSE 2025 LOC Data Correction: Editable fields
Schools can send the following types of loc correction or update requests using the CAMC portal:
