NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the CUET PG 2025 exam starting today, March 13, 2025, for admissions to master’s and professional degree programs across more than 190 participating universities. On the first day, the exam covers seven subjects: Theatre, Statistics, Botany, Art and Aesthetics, Mathematics, BEd Humanities and Social Sciences, and MTech Electronics Communication and Information Engineering.
The exam follows an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) format and runs in three shifts, each lasting 90 minutes. Candidates’ domain knowledge will be assessed through multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
CUET PG 2025 Exam Pattern
The exam consists of 75 MCQs based on the domain syllabus. Candidates will receive four marks for each correct response, while one will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi), except for:
- 41 language papers – Conducted in the respective language.
- Technical and Higher Sciences papers – Available in English only.
- Acharya Papers – Presented in Sanskrit, except for the Indian Knowledge System and Baurdha Darshana, which will be trilingual (Hindi/Sanskrit/English).
- Hindu Studies – Available in both Hindi and English.

CUET PG 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
To ensure a smooth examination process, candidates must adhere to these guidelines:
- Arrive at the designated exam centre at least two hours before the scheduled exam time.
- Avoid wearing full-length clothing and footwear with heels.
- Cooperate with staff during the security frisking process.
- Candidates appearing for multiple shifts must remain inside the exam centre during the shift break and can only leave during session breaks.
- Carry all required documents to avoid any inconvenience.
