XLRI Jamshedpur Confers Degrees to 595 Graduates at 69th Annual Convocation

XLRI Jamshedpur celebrated its 69th Annual Convocation at the Tata Auditorium, marking a significant milestone for the Xavier School of Management.     Graduating Cohort: A Diverse and Accomplished Class

    XLRI’s 69th convocation featured a diverse graduating cohort, with students representing various programs that uphold the institution’s legacy of academic excellence. Here are the details of the graduating students:

    • 184 students graduated from the Human Resource Management (HRM) program.
    • 226 students completed the Business Management (BM) program.
    • 15 students earned their degrees in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM).
    • 115 students graduated from the General Management Programme (GMP).
    • 43 students successfully finished the Post Graduate Programme in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Creation (PGP-IEV).
    • 12 students completed the Fellow Programme in Management.

    In addition, XLRI awarded Long Service Medals to three faculty members and 14 administrative staff for completing 15 years of dedicated service to the Institute.

    • Karan Chauhan earned the second rank.

    • Shivansh Totla claimed the first rank.
    • Aditi Gupta secured the second rank.
    • Aradhya Kulshreshta attained the third rank.

    Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM):

    • Anubhaw Kumar earned the first rank.
    • Alen Thomas Kattakayam secured the second rank.

    General Management Programme (GMP):

    • Pranav Varma achieved the first rank.
    • Ajay Bajaj secured the second rank.
    • Sugandha Om Prakash Singh claimed the third rank.

    Keynote Address by Sanjiv Puri: A Vision for Industry and Society

    Sanjiv Puri, Chairman and Managing Director, ITC Limited, delivered the keynote address as the Chief Guest and Convocation speaker. In recognition of his significant contributions to both industry and society, XLRI awarded him the prestigious Sir Jehangir Gandhi Medal for Industrial and Social Peace. In his speech, Puri emphasised the importance of ethical leadership, responsible innovation and sustainable progress.     TV Narendran, Chairman, Board of Governors, XLRI and CEO & MD, Tata Steel Ltd, also addressed the graduating class.
