NEW DELHI: Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will close the registration window for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2025 and the Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) on April 12. Eligible candidates can apply for these entrance exams through the official website, set-test.org.

    The university conducts SET and SITEEE to facilitate admission to full-time undergraduate (UG) programs including Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) at various Symbiosis Institutes.

    Candidates can take up to two test attempts and the university will consider the higher score for percentile calculation.

    According to the official statement, the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) serves as a gateway to 11 reputed undergraduate institutes across various fields including Management, Mass Communication, Economics, Applied Statistics & Data Science, Information Technology, Sport & Exercise Science, Computer Applications and Liberal Arts with campuses located in Pune, Noida, Nagpur, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

    In contrast, SITEEE offers engineering programs across three institutes covering disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics and Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

    SET, SITEEE 2025: Eligibility and Exam Pattern

    • Candidates must have passed Class 12 board exams from a recognized board.
    • A minimum of 50% marks is required for general category candidates.
    • 45% marks are required for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
    • Candidates with an equivalent grade are also eligible to apply for SET 2025.
    • Applicants seeking admission to honours with research programs must have a CGPA of 7.5 or higher.
    • To apply for SITEEE 2025, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following:
      • Chemistry
      • Computer Science
      • Electronics
      • Information Technology
      • Biology
      • Informatics Practices
      • Biotechnology
      • Technical Vocational Subject
      • Agriculture
      • Engineering Graphics
      • Business Studies
      • Entrepreneurship
    • Alternatively, candidates who have completed a D.Voc. program in the same or an allied field are also eligible.

    The university also offers bridge courses in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Engineering Drawing to help students from diverse backgrounds strengthen their foundations and achieve desired learning outcomes.

    Application Fee and Exam Structure

    Candidates applying for SET 2025 will be assessed on their proficiency in:

    • General English
    • Quantitative Aptitude
    • General Awareness
    • Analytical and Logical Reasoning

    SITEEE 2025 will evaluate candidates’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Both exams will consist of 60 objective questions divided into three to four sections with no negative marking.

    As per the official statement, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 2,250 per test and Rs 1,000 per program. Payment can be made through a demand draft in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat.”
