NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 on March 13. The exam will occur in three shifts each day and conclude on April 1.
A total of 4,12,024 unique candidates have registered for CUET PG 2025. NTA has released the city intimation slip for all exam days, while admit cards for exams scheduled between March 13 and 20 are available for download at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.
The exam will be conducted at 312 centers across India and cover 157 courses. 190 universities will accept CUET PG 2025 scores for admissions.
CUET PG 2025 Exam Schedule and Shift Timings
NTA has confirmed that no exams will take place on March 14, 17, and 20. The exam shifts are scheduled as follows:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Candidates must carry their CUET PG 2025 admit card along with a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or passport.
Important Changes in CUET PG 2025
Following expert committee recommendations, NTA has introduced several changes to the CUET PG 2025 exam. These include:
- Exam Duration: Reduced from 105 minutes to 90 minutes.
- Syllabus Updates: Additional topics included in the MCA syllabus.
- Registration Fees: Increased from previous years.
- Exam Centers: Candidates can now select up to four preferred cities.
- Exam Centers Count: Reduced to 285 in India, while 27 international centres will be available, including new centres in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Oslo (Norway), and Frankfurt/Berlin (Germany).
CUET PG 2025 Exam Pattern
The CUET PG 2025 exam will be conducted in an online mode. Candidates will attempt 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) within a 90-minute duration. The exam will carry a total of 300 marks, with the marking scheme awarding four marks for each correct answer and deducting one mark for every incorrect response. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi.
