NEET PG 2024 Counseling: MCC Allots 2331 Seat For Stray Vacancy Round

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round counseling results for 2331 seats on February 19. Candidates can view their results on the official website, mcc.nic.in, and are required to report to their allotted institutes between February 20 and February 28.

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the results for the 2331-seat allotment under the stray vacancy round of counseling on February 19. Of the total seats, 2562 remain vacant, with Maharashtra having the highest number of unfilled positions. Candidates can check their allotment results on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

Among the 2331 seats allotted under the All India Quota (AIQ), 11 seats are reserved under the Armed Forces quota. According to the NEET PG 2024 schedule, students can report to their allotted institutes between February 20 and February 28. Additionally, MCC has canceled three NEET PG stray vacancy round seats based on college requests.

The registration for NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 began on February 5, 2025, and ended on February 7, 2025. Candidates were able to access the choice-filling and locking facilities from February 5 to February 9, 2025.

Eligibility for the Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 is limited to candidates without an allotted seat in either the AIQ or state quota. Candidates who failed to join their allotted seats in Round 3 of MCC NEET PG counseling are deemed ineligible for the stray vacancy round.
