NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2026 Begins: Check All Important Dates

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has officially released the counselling schedule for BSc and MSc HHA admissions 2026. Candidates who have qualified the entrance examination are advised to go through the complete schedule carefully and complete all formalities within the given deadlines.

    What is NCHMCT Counselling?

    NCHMCT counselling is a centralized online seat allotment process conducted for admission into BSc and MSc Hotel & Hospitality Administration (HHA) programmes offered by various Institute of Hotel Management (IHMs) across India. The counselling is conducted in two rounds: the first round and the final round. Candidates are allotted seats based on their merit rank, category and choice of institute filled during the registration process.

    Step-by-Step Counselling Process

    1. Registration & Choice Filling: Register online by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/- and fill in preferred institute choices.
    2. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on merit rank and institute preference.
    3. Payment of SAF: Pay the Seat Acceptance Fees of Rs. 20,000/- and upload the required documents to confirm the seat.
    4. Document Verification: Uploaded documents are verified online by the document verification centre.
    5. Online Seal Withdrawal (Optional): Candidates not wishing to retain their allotted seat may opt for seal withdrawal during the given window.
    6. Final Round: Vacant seats are filled through the final round. Both new and Round 1 candidates may participate.
    7. Physical Reporting: Report to the allotted IHM with all original documents within the reporting dates.
    8. Hostel Allotment & Academic Start: Hostel is allotted after reporting and the academic programme begins.
