The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to begin the NEET UG 2025 counselling process for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in medical and dental colleges starting July 1, 2025. Although MCC has not officially released the counselling dates on mcc.nic.in, students are advised to regularly check the website for updates.
When Will NEET 2025 Counselling Begin?
As per a report by The Hindu, during a recent Delhi High Court hearing, the petitioner’s counsel mentioned that NEET UG 2025 counselling is tentatively scheduled to start from July 1, 2025. However, the official confirmation from MCC is still awaited.
Documents Required for NEET UG 2025 Counselling
To ensure a smooth counselling process, candidates must keep the following documents ready:
- NEET UG 2025 Scorecard
- Class 10th Mark Sheet and Certificate
- Class 12th Mark Sheet and Certificate
- Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License)
- Passport-size Photographs
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Provisional Allotment Letter (after seat allotment)
- Payment Method (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking for counselling fee)
- Any other documents as specified by MCC
What is NEET AIQ Counselling For?
MCC conducts NEET AIQ Counselling 2025 to fill the following seats:
- 15% All India Quota seats in all government medical and dental colleges across India
- 100% MBBS and BDS seats in Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
- 100% MBBS seats in AIIMS, JIPMER and AMU
- 15% AIQ seats in Delhi-based institutions like University of Delhi (DU), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU), VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, and ABVIMS
