KTET 2026 Registration Reopened: Last Date to Apply is June 5

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has reopened the registration window for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2026 on June 3, 2026. Candidates who missed the earlier deadline can now apply on the official website at ktet.kerala.gov.in before June 5, 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

    How to Apply

    1. Visit the official KTET website at ktet.kerala.gov.in
    2. Fill in the online application form with personal, academic and category details
    3. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee online
    4. Submit the form and download a copy for future reference
    5. Keep the payment receipt as proof of successful fee submission

    Exam Pattern

    The KTET 2026 will be held in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 150 marks. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates receive one mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for wrong or unanswered questions.

    Passing Marks (Category-wise)

    • General Category: 90 out of 150 marks (60%)
    • OBC / SC / ST Category: 82 out of 150 marks (55%)
    • Persons with Disabilities: 75 out of 150 marks (50%)

    Admit Card

    The KTET 2026 hall ticket will be issued on June 16, 2026. Candidates can download it from the official portal using their login credentials. The admit card will include the candidate’s name, registration number, exam centre, date, reporting time and exam-day guidelines. It is a mandatory document to carry on the day of the examination.
