JoSAA 2026 Mock Seat Allotment Round 2 Tomorrow: Candidates Can Lock Choices from June 10

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the Mock Seat Allotment Round 2 tomorrow, June 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM (13:00 IST). The Round 2 mock allotment will be based on choices submitted by June 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST. Candidates will also be able to begin locking their choices from this date.

Candidates can check their tentative seat allotment by logging in to the official JoSAA portal at josaa.nic.in.

How to Check JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment Round 2

1. Visit the official JoSAA website josaa.nic.in
2. Click on the “Mock Seat Allotment Round 2” link on the homepage.
3. Log in using your JEE Application Number and password.
4. Your tentative allotted seat (institute, branch, category) will be displayed on screen.
5. Review the allotment and compare it with your preference list.
6. If needed, modify your choices add, remove or reorder institute-course preferences.
7. Click “Save Choices” and then “Lock Choices” before June 11, 5:00 PM IST.

What Candidates Must Do Now

1. Check Mock Round 2 result on josaa.nic.in after 1:00 PM on June 10.
2. Review the tentatively allotted college/course against your preference list.
3. Add, remove or reorder institute-course preferences if needed.
4. Lock choices before June 11, 2026, 5:00 PM IST the final deadline.

Important Notes

• If candidates do not manually lock their choices, the system will auto-lock the last saved choices at the deadline.
• Mock allotment helps candidates assess their chances at IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs and allows them to modify the order of choices based on allotment trends.
• The mock allotment is not final it is only for reference and helps candidates edit their choices before the lock deadline.
• Choice filling and locking will close on June 11, 2026, followed by Round 1 seat allotment on June 13, 2026.
