Round 3 and Beyond
Following Round 2, JEECUP will conduct Round 3 choice filling from July 16 to July 19, with seat allotment scheduled for July 20. Notably, all candidates will be auto-frozen in Round 3 – the Freeze/Float choice will not be available at this stage, and admitted candidates must complete document verification and report to their allotted institutes.
Classes for the 2026-27 session are scheduled to commence from August 1, 2026.
Special Counselling for Non-Admitted Candidates
JEECUP has also announced a second-phase special counselling schedule (Rounds 4 and 5) for candidates who remain unallotted after the main counselling, or non-admitted UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 qualified candidates from UP and other states. This special round will begin with choice filling from July 27 to July 29, with seat allotment on July 30, followed by Round 5 in mid-August.
