LUCKNOW: The Indian Institute of Management has secured more than 580 job offers. The highest domestic offer is 75 Lakh, and 65 Lakh the international offer. The average salary offered stood at Rs 32.3 lakhs per annum. IIM maintains a 100% placement record.
There is a sizable decrease in the domestic offer this year; last year, it stood at 1.23 crore. International offers remained the same as last year, with the highest package at ₹65 lakh per annum. IIML received over 580 offers for its 39th Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and 20th Postgraduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM).
Prof. Priyanka Sharma, Chairperson of Student Affairs and Placements at IIM Lucknow, highlighted the success of this year’s placements, emphasizing the institute’s strong curriculum. She stated that a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure prepares students to excel in the industry. With the improving economy, she expressed confidence in even more promising opportunities ahead.
The offers emanated from key sectors like Consulting, Finance, General Management, Product Management, Sales & Marketing, Operations & Retail, and E-Commerce, with recruiters from across the globe.
According to the IIM Lucknow, the first-time recruiters included Ather Energy, BPCL, CRISIL, DBS Bank, GMR Group, HPCL, Javis, Jefferies, Lava, Marsh McLennan, Maruti Suzuki, Mankind Pharma, Mindsprint, NAFED, PhonePe, Purplle, TESCO, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, UKG, Vector Consulting Group and Walmart.
