What BCA Candidates Need to Do

For CET-qualified candidates, including those applying for BCA, the university has outlined two mandatory steps within the same window:

    • Enrollment for Centralized Online Counselling to be completed between 13.07.2026 (2:00 PM) and 15.07.2026 (12:00 noon).
    • Uploading of educational testimonials and reserved category documents (where applicable) within the same period.

This applies to candidates who have already qualified CET 2026; no fresh registration fee is required for CET-route programmes like BCA, unlike NLT programmes such as B.Tech or LLM.

Choice Filling Is Mandatory for Allotment

Following enrollment, BCA candidates along with those in other CET and NLT programmes must complete choice filling between 13.07.2026 (2:00 PM) and 15.07.2026 (1:00 PM). This step is compulsory for seat allotment and applies to three categories of candidates:

    • Candidates who freshly register in Round 2.
    • Candidates already allotted a seat in Round 1 with fee paid and documents verified who had chosen the Float option.
    • Candidates who registered in Round 1 but did not fill their choices at the time.

The university has noted that a further schedule, based on the Round 2 result, will be announced on the university website on 15.07.2026.

Key Compliance Points for BCA and Other Candidates

Match Your Details With CET/NLT Records

The university has flagged that mismatches in name, father’s name, mother’s name, or date of birth between the university application and the candidate’s national-level test portal have been causing registration issues. Candidates are advised to enter details exactly as submitted on the relevant test-conducting authority’s portal.

Documents Required for Age and Eligibility Proof

Candidates must upload their Class 10 certificate for date of birth verification and their Class 12 or qualifying exam marksheet to confirm eligibility, since these results have now been declared.

    Compartment/Supplementary Candidates Not Eligible Yet

Candidates with a compartment or supplementary status in their qualifying exam are not eligible to register on the counselling date. They become eligible once they clear the qualifying exam.

    Reserved Category Document Requirements

BCA candidates applying under reserved categories must mandatorily upload the relevant certificate in their own name, as detailed in Chapter 6 (Reservation Policy) of the Admission Brochure 2026-27:

    • DOBC candidates OBC certificate with NCL status, issued before 31.03.2026.
    • EWS candidates EWS certificate issued after 31.03.2026.
    • Defence category candidates Filled and signed Appendix 1 as per para 6.1.5 of the brochure.
    • DSC/DST/DOBC seat claimants must have completed their qualifying exam from a Delhi-based school/college and hold an SC/ST/OBC certificate from a competent Delhi government authority, with the caste matching the applicable Delhi government list.

    Candidate Responsibility Reminder

The university has reiterated that it is the sole responsibility of each candidate to ensure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria and that all details regarding Region, Category, and Sub-Category are accurate. If any information is later found incorrect or false at any stage, the admission will be cancelled and all fees paid will be forfeited.

What BCA Candidates Should Do Now

    • Log in to the counselling portal and complete enrollment between 13.07.2026 (2:00 PM) and 15.07.2026 (12:00 noon).
    • Upload educational testimonials and, if applicable, reserved category certificates within the same window.
    • Fill your college and programme choices before 15.07.2026, 1:00 PM this step is mandatory for allotment.
    • Ensure your name, parents’ names, and date of birth match your CET 2026 records exactly.
    • Upload Class 10 certificate and Class 12/qualifying exam marksheet as required.
    • Check the university website on 15.07.2026 for the next phase of the schedule after the Round 2 result.

    Key Takeaway

With enrollment, document upload, and choice filling all packed into a narrow window between July 13 and July 15, BCA aspirants are advised to complete each step early rather than waiting until the final hours. The Round 2 result, expected by July 16, will determine the next steps for both fresh and existing candidates in the programme.
