NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee released the GATE 2025 answer key on 27th February 2025. Now, candidates can access and download the answer key along with their answer sheets from the official GATE website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The second option is via the application portal goaps.iitr.ac.in.

How To Download the GATE 2025 Answer Key & Response Sheet?

Step 1: Check the official GATE 2025 website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link for “GOAPS portal” on the homepage.
Step 3: Open the new page and enter your details, like enrollment ID or Email Address and password.
Step 4: Now, click on login and open links for ‘GATE 2025 answer key, ‘ and the ‘response sheet’ will appear on your screen
Step 5: Download the provisional key and your response sheet.
Step 6: Review the answers and calculate your marks using the answer key and response sheet.

GATE Score for Admissions and Jobs

GATE score is important for students seeking admission, financial assistance for higher studies, or job opportunities in PSUs. Institutions consider GATE marks and ranks for:

Master’s and direct doctoral programs in engineering, architecture, and technology.
Doctoral programs in relevant branches of arts and sciences at institutions supported by the Ministry of Education and other government agencies.
GATE qualification is mandatory for certain colleges, even for students who want to take admission without a scholarship or assistantship.
