NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the offline CUET 2025 orientation programme for school principals and counsellors on April 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of teachers to guide students through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) application and preparation process.
CBSE will host this event to provide school leaders with comprehensive information about CUET 2025, including its eligibility criteria, exam pattern, subject selection, and undergraduate admission guidelines. The session will also cover effective preparation strategies and techniques to help students manage exam-related stress.
By organizing this orientation programme, CBSE aims to assist principals and counsellors in providing precise guidance and academic support, as CUET has become an important component in UG and PG admissions in universities recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Objectives of the CUET 2025 Orientation Programme:
- Explain CUET eligibility, exam structure, and university admission policies.
- Assist educators in advising students on subject selection aligned with career goals.
- Share proven study strategies, planning techniques, and resource recommendations.
- Prepare educators to answer student queries regarding CUET.
- Train school leaders to support students emotionally and academically during the exam phase.
CBSE has limited participation to 350 attendees. The board will send confirmation emails to selected participants. Attendees are required to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
