NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) has scheduled the Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2025 for May 7, 2025. This exam will facilitate admissions into MBA and MCA programs at colleges and universities across Andhra Pradesh for the academic session 2025-26.
Professor M Shashi from the Computer Science and Engineering department at Andhra University will serve as the exam convenor, as per the AP ICET 2025 schedule shared on X.
APSCHE will soon release details regarding eligibility, syllabus, registration dates, and the application form on its official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
Eligibility Criteria and Application Fee
Based on last year’s criteria, candidates with a three-year or four-year degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) can apply.
The registration process will require applicants to upload necessary documents and pay a category-based application fee. Last year, Open Category (OC) candidates paid ₹650, Backward Category (BC) candidates paid ₹600, and Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates paid ₹550.
Exam Pattern and Qualification Criteria
The AP ICET 2025 will take place in two shifts and will consist of questions covering various topics for a total of 200 marks. Candidates must secure at least 25% marks to qualify.
In the previous year, approximately 43,000 candidates cleared the entrance exam. Arrla Kranti Kumar from Vijayawada secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the MBA exam, while Gunnam Sai Karthik from Rajahmundry and Suryashetti Vasanta Lakshmi from Visakhapatnam secured the second and third ranks, respectively.
